If you have been dreaming of a horse that can take you to the upper levels in the jumping ring, this horse can make your dreams come true!  Caletino aka “Seeker” has a superb temperament, spectacular jump, and produces talented offspring!

Seeker Conf

Seeker is a horse that will put you on top of the podium in the jumper ring!!  He is a true professional about his job; he sees the distance, adjusts his stride automatically, and takes off at just the right spot every time!

Besides his exceptional jumping talent, Seeker is a total ‘Pocket Pony!’ He will stand quietly next to the ring and you would never know that he is a stallion. He is the perfect combination of maturity and ability. There are still many more years left for successful competition, with none of that young horse goofiness.

Seeker has been super successful at Thunderbird and Spruce Meadows with rider Rich Fellers commenting “This horse can gallop!” He seems to get better as the fences get higher and the courses tougher.

Seeker’s also had a very successful dressage career; showing on the National Level as a Young Horse and competing through Fourth Level and has been trained into the FEI level movements. His heart is in the jumper ring though!!

Competitive Successes:

With Owner/Trainer Deborah Hausman:

  • US Young Horse National Championships—Finalist
  • DG Bar Cup—Winner, scoring high enough to place him Reserve Champion in the US

With U.S. Olympic Team Rider Rich Fellers:

  • Thunderbird Tournament , Langley, B.C.—Top ribbons in the 1.10m & 1.15m divisions out of more then 50 entries. Finishing his debut tournament with only 1 rail in 10 rounds after only two months of under saddle jumping training!
  • Canada One Tournament at Spruce Meadows 5th out of 44 & 2nd out of 41 in the 1.20m division
  • North American Tournament at Spruce Meadows—3rd out of 50 and 1st out of 32 in the 1.20m division

Seeker’s pedigree reads like a Who’s Who of the Holsteiner breed. Both his grandsires, Caletto II and Caletto I and great-grandsire Cor de la Bryere, established significant dynasties in breeding and competition sports. Seeker himself is the perfect personification of his breed: “noble, expressive, enormous gaits, superb jumping ability and correct conformation for sport.”

Caletino’s kind, willing temperament and exceptional conformation has produced offspring of the highest quality.  His offspring have been extremely successful in the jumper and dressage rings.  They all possess the exceptional movement needed for any sporthorse endeavor. He is registered with the KWPN and the NA/WPN and is a nominated sire for the Arabian horse, and has several top quality Half Arab Sporthorses in the show ring.  He rides and has the character of a gelding not a stallion.
