Bacchus and Jennifer at the Country Classic
Five year old Bacchus (Caletino x Tiaraella) was one of several Quailhurst-bred alumni horses competing at last week’s 2011 Country Classic Horse Show. The Country Classic (AA) is a Northwest tradition, now in its 38th year, and is held at the beautiful Hunter Creek Farm in Wilsonville, Oregon.
Bacchus was ridden in the 4 & 5 Year Old Hunter division by trainer Karianne Boyce Lockhart of Poseidon Stables and received a 2nd, 3rd, and two 4ths. Owner Jennifer Boyce (sister to Karianne) tells us she was thrilled with Bacchus’ performance and is equally excited to show him herself for the first time over fences at the Northwest Spectacular Horse Show in August.
